ASTM C1695 — removable insulation covers

The fabrication standard for flexible removable/reusable blanket insulation: materials, seams, closures, dimensional practice and quality requirements for engineered covers. It is the dividing line between an engineered cover and a loose-filled bag (which has no dedicated standard). Specifying C1695 in procurement is the single cheapest way to avoid the single-use-pillow problem.

Inzonex: Some materials in this database are rated to 1000 °C or above. Standard Inzonex projects usually address duties up to +600 °C; the allowable temperature of the complete engineered assembly must be confirmed for the specific application.
