Known, modelled and calculated values are kept separate. Missing fields are shown as unavailable.
The Siberian Chemical Combine (SCC) in the closed city of Seversk is one of Russia's largest integrated nuclear fuel-cycle sites, combining uranium enrichment, conversion and historic plutonium production/reprocessing. It is the planned home of the BREST-OD-300 lead-cooled fast reactor and a pilot closed-fuel-cycle demonstration under Rosatom's “Proryv” (Breakthrough) programme.
The existing combine is primarily a fuel-cycle and materials complex rather than a commercial power station. It plays a strategic role in Russia's enrichment capacity and in its next-generation reactor ambitions, and is monitored in non-proliferation analysis.
Technically it is described as Enrichment, conversion & reprocessing. This facility converts its energy source into electricity for the grid; its capacity, fuel type and location determine its role in the national power mix.
Capacity comparison computed from the WRI Global Power Plant Database; fuel-type context is general engineering background.
Operated by Rosatom / TVEL.
This nuclear plant generates electricity for the grid. It sits in a subarctic (boreal) climate (Köppen Dfc) — Northern Hemisphere, latitude 56.6°N — which shapes how much energy it can produce and how its output varies through the year.
Climate zone & typical temperatures: Köppen-Geiger world climate classification (Kottek et al. 2006, 0.5° grid).
Russia has 4 nuclear power plants in this dataset, together about 0 MW of capacity.

Plants like this lose energy through hot steam generators, turbines, feedwater heaters and valves. Inzonex makes removable, reusable turbine & feedwater insulation that cuts that loss by up to 96% and holds surface temperatures under 45°C, unclipping in seconds for maintenance.
