Facility counts by sector, Climate TRACE v6 (asset-level capacity & CO₂e, CC BY 4.0).
Across the 3 Zimbabwe industrial facilities with an estimated CO₂ figure (Climate TRACE), total emissions are about 0.68 Mt CO₂e/yr. The single largest emitter, Colleen Bawn Cement Plant (cement), accounts for about 75% of that. The biggest sectoral share comes from cement. Among facilities with a known operator, the top three — PPC Zimbabwe Ltd, Sino Zimbabwe Cement Company Pvt Ltd — account for roughly 84%. Most of these facilities sit in a temperate Köppen climate zone.
