The state of Poland's industrial emissions

Across the 29 Poland industrial facilities with an estimated CO₂ figure (Climate TRACE), total emissions are about 23.2 Mt CO₂e/yr. The single largest emitter, ArcelorMittal Dąbrowa Górnicza steel plant (iron-and-steel), accounts for about 32% of that. The biggest sectoral share comes from iron-and-steel. Among facilities with a known operator, the top three — ArcelorMittal Poland SA, PKN ORLEN, Saudi Arabian Oil Co — account for roughly 58%. Most of these facilities sit in a temperate Köppen climate zone.
