Facility counts by sector, Climate TRACE v6 (asset-level capacity & CO₂e, CC BY 4.0).
Across the 12 Denmark industrial facilities with an estimated CO₂ figure (Climate TRACE), total emissions are about 2.8 Mt CO₂e/yr. The single largest emitter, Kalundborg Refinery (oil-and-gas-refining), accounts for about 44% of that. The biggest sectoral share comes from oil-and-gas-refining. Among facilities with a known operator, the top three — Klesch Group Ltd, Aalborg Portland A/S, Crossbridge Energy Partners — account for roughly 89%. Most of these facilities sit in a temperate Köppen climate zone.
