Industry mix (Cameroon)
Facility counts by sector, Climate TRACE v6 (asset-level capacity & CO₂e, CC BY 4.0).
The state of Cameroon's industrial emissions
Across the 3 Cameroon industrial facilities with an estimated CO₂ figure (Climate TRACE), total emissions are about 0.95 Mt CO₂e/yr. The single largest emitter, Figuil Cement Plant (cement), accounts for about 60% of that. The biggest sectoral share comes from cement. Among facilities with a known operator, the top three — CimenCam SA, Mira SA, Compagnie Camerounaise de l’Aluminium — account for roughly 100%. Most of these facilities sit in a tropical Köppen climate zone.
