Local work-package record screen
Maintenance planner
Check whether a maintenance work-package record set represents twelve practical planning fields. Every row shows its source trail and the Inzonex editorial reason for including it.
Work-package completeness checklist
Mark a field only when a reviewer can point to a local record. A mark says the field is represented; it says nothing about whether the content is current, correct or sufficient.

Source facts and boundaries
The source rows below stay separate from the checklist logic. No source is claimed to prescribe this exact twelve-field model.
DOE-STD-1050-93
U.S. Department of Energy | archived DOE technical standard page
Source fact: The guide describes work-package planning that identifies technical and administrative requirements and provides materials, tools and support activities needed for maintenance work.
Boundary: Nuclear-facility context; archived and cancelled; not presented as general law or a universal industrial requirement.
Operations and Maintenance Best Practices Guide, Release 3.0
U.S. Department of Energy | federal O&M guidance
Source fact: The guide discusses work-order records, technical documentation, parts and materials, labor and cost tracking, condition information and feedback through O&M records and CMMS use.
Boundary: Guidance and examples, not a site-specific maintenance procedure or a substitute for current manufacturer and employer requirements.
OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147
Occupational Safety and Health Administration | U.S. general-industry regulation
Source fact: For covered work, employers establish the energy-control program and use procedures addressing shutdown, isolation, device control and verification, with training, inspection and employee responsibilities.
Boundary: Applicability and compliance remain the employer's and site's responsibility. A checklist reference is not an energy-control procedure.
SAP Help: Preparation
SAP | product documentation
Source fact: SAP describes planners grouping maintenance work, selecting a concrete time period and checking resources, spare parts and services before scheduling.
Boundary: Describes SAP product workflow, not a universal maintenance method or evidence that a local order is adequate.
SAP Help: Planning of an Order
SAP | product documentation
Source fact: SAP lists operations, relationships, material planning, permits, capacity planning, scheduling, cost estimation and partner data among order-planning functions, while noting that companies define their own planning steps.
Boundary: Feature documentation; available fields and workflow depend on edition, configuration and local process.
SAP Help: Process Maintenance Order
SAP | product documentation
Source fact: SAP documents order information including dates, location, operations and suboperations, planned materials, services, capacity, costs and production resources or tools.
Boundary: Product documentation, not an endorsement, occupation definition or complete work-package standard.
SAP Help: Maintenance Order
SAP | product documentation
Source fact: SAP describes internal or external order processing and transfer of order data into maintenance history for evaluation and future planning.
Boundary: Product workflow context; record quality still depends on local definitions, configuration and use.
A local work-package record checklist for industrial maintenance planning. It checks whether twelve editorial record fields are represented; it does not judge technical adequacy, approve a procedure, permit execution, or replace employer and site controls.
Turn the count into a local review packet
- Use the blank CSV to attach one controlled record reference and owner to each represented field.
- Review missing fields with operations, maintenance, engineering and site control owners as locally applicable.
- Review the content itself under current employer procedures, manufacturer information and site rules before any execution decision.
- After completion, retain findings and follow-up records where the local maintenance history can support future planning.

Maintenance planner questions
What is this maintenance work-package checklist for?
It is a local record-screening aid. It helps a planner see whether twelve common work-package fields are represented before the record set enters local review.
Does a complete count approve the maintenance work?
No. A count of twelve means only that every editorial field is represented. Technical adequacy, permits, site decisions and execution controls remain in the responsible employer and site processes.
Does the OSHA source make this an energy-control procedure?
No. OSHA 1910.147 places covered hazardous-energy programs, procedures, training and verification within employer responsibilities. This checklist only asks for a reference to the applicable controlled site record.
Is DOE-STD-1050-93 a general industrial legal requirement?
No. It is an archived and cancelled DOE guide for maintenance planning at DOE nuclear facilities. Inzonex uses it as a bounded planning reference, not as general law.
Does the counter assess the planner or maintenance team?
No. It counts represented fields in one record set. It does not assess a person, team, supplier or organization.
