Reference scenario: 70 m2 of roof at 62 C and 1.5 m/s air velocity, matching the existing pasteurizer model. Replace these values with surveyed operating data.

Access without a false saving

Against a bare roof, removable panels add a short unfasten/refit cycle. Select fixed cladding or existing blankets only where that is the real maintenance baseline.

Panel architecture

Long roof sections are divided around access covers, raised features and perimeter posts. Each service strip remains independently removable instead of becoming one continuous obstruction.

Baselineset in Your plant

Bare metal is the honest default. Fixed-cladding or blanket savings appear only when you select that real baseline and enter its cycle.

The load entering the room

The tunnel roof is a large horizontal source above the packaging line. The model reports casing heat kept out of the hall; it does not claim a room-temperature reduction.

It is the same saved heat viewed from the working environment rather than the fuel meter. No fan, cooling or make-up-air saving is added to payback.

Method

ASTM C680 / ISO 12241 approach; detailed brewery tier with explicit radiation. Method record.

Claim boundary

The renders are design visualisations. Machine-specific outputs are estimates until dimensions and temperatures are confirmed by survey.

Inzonex Modular Insulation. UK patent application / patent-pending GB2508992.1.

How is the heat loss calculated?

The detailed model uses the air velocity shown under Your plant, explicit thermal radiation, temperature-dependent mineral-wool conductivity and an iterative outer-surface temperature solution. Inputs and assumptions remain visible above.

Does removable insulation block maintenance access?

No. The panel layout is split around service hatches, stacks, manways and instruments. The access calculator defaults to a bare baseline and only reports savings when a real existing barrier is selected.

Does this model predict the brewery hall temperature?

No. It reports the casing heat kept out of the room. Hall temperature also depends on ventilation, building fabric, process moisture and other equipment loads.
